Buying a service is different from buying a product. Products are tangible, functional. You can see them, touch them and easily compare them. Although we use financial products, we do not see ourselves as product sellers, but as service providers.

Buying a service is different. You need to experience it before you can make a realistic value judgement. However this does not help you to make the initial purchase decision. To understand the service you are being offered you need to understand what drives it – the philosophy and values that underpin it.
